Colin C. Heaton

Colin founded the Heaton Firm in 2019, shortly after receiving his license to practice law. Colin is a trial lawyer and also maintains a practice in business law, estate planning, and probate matters.


Colin has had a wide variety of success both in and out of the Court room. Some of his biggest accomplishments include:


  • Obtaining a large settlement in a consumer protection claim against a car dealership
  • Obtaining a large settlement against an insurance company for their refusal to pay on a contents-coverage after a house fire
  • Winning summary judgment in numerous meritless civil rights cases brought against law enforcement officers
  • Successfully returning control of property to numerous landlords and owner-financing sellers whose tenants and buyers stopped paying
  • Obtaining a declaratory judgment awarding the entire trust estate to his clients in a lawsuit over a contested trust
  • Obtaining a large settlement in a wrongful termination lawsuit against a multi-million dollar public company
  • Obtaining many large settlements from clients injured in car accidents
  • Obtaining clear title through quiet title lawsuits for property owning clients
  • Obtaining many other successful verdicts for his clients in both jury trials and bench trials


For his business and transactional clients, Colin has drafted numerous complex estate plans, real estate documents, and other important business documents. Colin also maintains a large practice in probate court, working with clients that need guardianships or probate estates for their loved ones.


Colin has called Hot Springs, AR his home from birth and loves his community. He is actively involved with NewLife Church and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Colin is committed to offering personalized legal services to his clients and tailoring his work to their specific needs. William T. Harris, IV

Will joined the Heaton Firm in July of 2020 to form Heaton & Harris, LLP. 


Will carries a wide range of knowledge in both the debtor and creditor’s side of bankruptcy. He also has experience in family law matters, such as divorce, child custody, and child support modifications. Will’s practice includes general civil litigation matters such as contract disputes, consumer debt defense, along with estate planning, business transactions, real estate, personal injury and criminal defense.


Will grew up in Hot Springs, AR and attended Lake Hamilton High School. Upon graduation from Lake Hamilton, Will attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After graduation, Will remained in Fayetteville and attended the University of Arkansas School of Law where he graduated. 


Will is actively involved with First United Methodist Church, the Arkansas Bar Association, and Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club. In his free time, Will loves to play golf, softball, tennis and spend time on the lake. He is also an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and enjoys watching a game any chance he gets. Will wants his clients to feel like family and know that he will always be on their side every step of the way.
